Note: Peter Edward had a beautiful voice; he must have taken after my grandfather Bachert. My mother, Regina, said he was a very active and daring young man. He was thought of as an exceptionally "nice" person; everyone loved him.

Note: He was the only son of Marie and Peter Anthony yet was drafted into the 2nd WW. He served in the African campaign; was retained after his unit pulled out to finish repairing some typewriting machines and was therefore sent to the Italian front
when the Alozio Beach Invasion began and lost his life there. He was buried there in a famous cemetery; the family brought him home and interred him in the family plot in Greensburg several years after his death in the field of battle.

Note: Bobby has been a solid and helpful member of our family for a long time now. Celeste and he have built up a good life for themselves in Chesapeake, Va. through hard-work and perseverance. Between them they have raised Celeste's daughter,
Alexia (and we think they have done a great job!). An avid sportsman and athlete, he stays busy with his work with Va. Power and many sports related activities. He is always ready with a helping hand and a hardy laugh.
